Diamond Dawgs Baseball Association (DD) is proud to announce the creation of a $500.00 annual bursary program to support its membership. The bursary program will award one bursary of $500.00 to a player attending a post-secondary institution. In the event that no applications for post-secondary attendance are submitted, the association will award two $250.00 bursaries to players who are seeking assistance with attending educational, musical, sports or cultural events during the summer.

The Diamond Dawgs board will review all applications and apply the following criteria when selecting a successful candidate:
How to Apply
1. Candidates must complete the attached application form and submit it to the DD by midnight February 15th . Each application will be reviewed during the following Board meeting. Upon receiving the application, DD will contact the applicant with a confirmation E-mail.
2. Provide a one-page letter outlining their request and detailing their involvement in the community, and how the applicant will seek to give back to the community in the coming year.
* Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
The successful applicant(s) will be informed by e-mail.
